How to turn off Windows Security Center alerts?Windows Security Center Alerts you through a taskbar icon on our system tray and keeps reminding you that your system is vulnerable to attack since you do not have an Anti-Virus, Firewall and/or Automatic updates disabled. - Click on Start ---> Control Panel
- Double click on Security Center
- On the left pane under Resources, click 'Change the way Security Center alerts me'
- In the Alert Settings dialog box, uncheck the Firewall, Automatic Updates and Virus Protection check boxes, and then click OK.
