How to disable automatic updates?

Well you really don't want to do that until you have a genuine reason to do so. One might be if you don't use internet a lot or if you are running out of hard disk space. It is pretty easy to disable automatic updates but doing so might put you under security risk.

1) Go to Control Panel

2) Open Administrative Tools

3) Double Click on 'Services'

4) Scroll down to 'Automatic Updates' and right click on it and select 'Stop' from the menu

Disable 'Choose a network connection pop-up'
