Hide System Tray Icons

1) Right click on the taskbar and select 'Properties'

2) In the 'Notification area' click on 'Hide inactive icons' if it already not checked and then click on 'Customize' button. This will bring up a similar window to the one below:

3) Click on the 'Behavior column next to each of your Current Items and choose one of three behaviors for each program icon that appears in the system tray: "Hide when inactive," "Always hide," or "always show."

Hide the System Tray clock

1) Right click on the taskbar and select 'Properties'

2) In the taskbar appearance uncheck 'Show the clock'

3) Click on 'Apply'. Your taskbar will now not have a clock
