To run scandisk on a drive

1) Open 'My Computer'

2) Right Click on the drive you want to run scandisk on and click on Properties

3) In the Properties window select the 'Tools' tab.

4) In the Error-checking section click on 'Check now' button.

5) Select from the options to customize your scan and click on 'Start' to run the scandisk.
