To enable Transfer mode to DMA

1) Right click on My Computer and select Properties.

2) Click on 'Hardware' tab and then click on 'Device Manager'.

3) From the tree expand IDE ..... Controllers.

4) Right click on Primary and secondary IDE channel and select 'Properties'

5) In the Advanced Settings' make sure the Transfer mode for device 0 and device 1 is selected to 'DMA if available'
