To add animation on your Desktop

1) Right click on desktop and click on 'Properties'

2) In the Display Properties window select the 'Desktop' tab

3) Now click on browse and traverse to the location of an animated file (usually a file with .gif extension) on your hard drive.

4) Click on Apply

Tip: If you don't have an animated icon save the below image by right clicking on it and clicking on 'Save picture as' and then follow steps 1 to 4.
