How to smartly switch between Applications?

For smart switching between applications use ALT+TAB keys.

How to get to the desktop quickly

Minimizing all windows to reach the desktop to open another application or file might be quite time consuming. If you want to minimize all windows at once then all you have to do is press the 'windows' and 'D' key on your keyboard simultaneously and you get to the desktop instantly.

Auto-Save Word Documents

If you use MS Word too often then this tip is just for you. All you have to do to make your Word document Auto Save is to select all the contents of the document you are working on (just press Ctrl+A to select everything) and drag the highlighted area on to the desktop. A document name with "Document Scrap ..." will be created on the desktop. You can now close the document you were working on and open the file created on the desktop and word will auto save everything you type automatically without you hitting 'Save' again and again.
